Mochana Agha Dushana, Jaga Bhushana, Chid Ghana Kay,
O Remover of the blemish of sin, the world’s Ornament, Thy body is a mass of pure Consciousness,
Jnananjana Vimala Nayana, Jnananjana Vimala Nayana, Vikshane Moha Jay.
Thy eyes are purified by the collyrium of knowledge; at their glance delusion disappears.
Bhasvara Bhava Sagara, Chira Unmada, Prema Pathar,
O effulgent Ocean of ecstasy, always in waves, Ocean of love,
Bhaktarjana Yugala Charana, Bhaktarjana Yugala Charana, Tarana Bhava Par.
Thy two feet, possessed by devotees, carry one across the ocean of iife.
Jrimbhita Yuga Ishvara, Jagad Ishvara, Yoga Sahay,
Manifested Lord of the cycle, Lord of the universe, Helper in yoga.
Nirodhana Samahita Mana, Nirodhana Samahita Mana, Nirakhi Tava Kripay.
One of controlled mind, established in samadhi, | see through Thy grace.
Bhanjana Duhkha Ganjana, Karuna Ghana, Karma Kathor,
O Destroyer of the affliction of misery, compassion embodied, ceaseless worker,
Pranarpana, Jagata Tarana, Pranarpana, Jagata Tarana, Krintana Kalidor.
Thou hast sacrificed Thy life for the world’s deliverance, O Breaker of the bondage of the Kaliyuga
Vanchana Kama Kanchana, Ati Nindita Indriya Rag,
O Renouncer of lust and gold, wholly spurning sense-attachment,
Tyagishvara, He Naravara, Tyagishvara, He Naravara, Deha Pade Anurag.
Lord of renouncers, O best of men, grant me devotion for Thy feet.
Nirbhaya, Gata Samshaya, Dridha Nishchaya, Manasavan,
Fearless, Dispeller of doubts, possessing a mind of firm resolve,
Nishkarana Bhakata Sharana, Nishkarana Bhakata Sharana, Tyaji Jati Kula Man.
Without any motive Thou art the devotees refuge, regardless of caste, lineage, honor.
Sampada Tava Shripada, Bhava Goshpada Vari Yathay;
My treasure is Thy blessed feet, before which the world becomes like a puddle in a cow's hoofprint;
Premarpana, Samadarashana, Premarpana, Samadarashana, Jaga Jana Duhkha Jay.
Thus, O Offering of love, Same-sighted one, all people's misery vanishes.

Breaker of this World’s Chain
Breaker of this world’s chain,
We adore Thee, whom all men love.
Spotless, taking man’s form, O Purifier,
Thou art above the gunas three,
Knowledge divine, not flesh;
Thou whom the cosmos wears,
A diamond at its heart.
Let us look deep in Thine eyes;
They are bright with the wisdom of God,
That can wake us from Maya’s spell.
Let us hold fast to Thy feet,
Treading the waves of the world to safety.
Oh, drunk with love, God-drunken Lover,
In Thee all paths of all yogas meet.
Lord of the worlds, Thou art ours,
Who wert born a child of our time;
Easy of access to us.
O Merciful, if we take any hold
Upon God in our prayer,
It is by Thy grace alone,
Since all Thine austerities
Were practiced for our sake.
How great was Thy sacrifice,
Freely choosing Thy birth,
In this prison, our Iron Age,
To unchain us and set us free.
Perfect, whom lust could not taint,
Nor passion nor gold draw near,
O Master of all who renounce,
Fill our hearts full of love for Thee.
Thou hast finished with fear and with doubt,
Standing firm in the vision of God;
Refuge to all who have cast
Fame, fortune, and friends away.
Without question Thou shelterest us,
And the world’s great sea in its wrath
Seems shrunk to the puddle
That fills the hoofprint in the clay.
Speech cannot hold Thee, nor mind,
Yet without Thee we think not nor speak.
Love, who art partial to none,
We are equal before Thy sight.
Taker-away of our pain,
We salute Thee, though we are blind.
Come to the heart’s black cave, and illumine,
Thou light of the light.

Om Hrim Ritam
Om Hring Ritam Tvamachalo, Gunajit Gunedyah
Om, Hring, Thou immutable Truth, Conqueror of the Gunas, adored by the Gunas,
Naktam Divam Sakarunam, Tava Pada Padmam,
Since I do not, night and day, with yearning heart,
Moham Kasham, Bahu Kritam Na Bhaje Yatoham.
Worship repeatedly Thy lotus feet, destructive of delusion.
Tasmat Tvameva Sharanam Mama Dina Bandho.
Therefore Thou alone art my refuge. O Friend of the lowly.
Bhaktir Bhagashcha Bhajanam, Bhava Bheda Kari,
Devotion, spiritual powers and worship, O Destroyer of relative existence,
Gacchantyalam Suvipulam, Gamanaya. Tattvam.
Are enough for the attainment of the Supreme Truth.
Vaktrod Ohritopi Hridaye, Na Cha Bhati Kinchit.
Though my mouth says this, still in my heart it does not shine at all.
Tasmat Tvameva Sharanam Mama Dina Bandho.
Therefore Thou atone art my refuge, O Friend of the lowly.
Tejas Taranti Tarasa, Tvayi Tripta Trishnah,
One goes beyond passion quickly, with desire fulfilled in Thee,
Rage Krite, Rita Pate, Tvayi Ramakrishne,
When devotion is created for Thee, O Ramakrishna,
Martyamritam Tava Padam, Maranormi Nasham.
Thy feet are the nectar for mortals, O Destroyer of the waves of death.

Krityam Karoti Kalusham, Kuhakanta Kari,
Thy name. O Lord, auspicious and holy, ending in “shna”,
Shnantam Shivam Suvimalam, Tava Nama Natha.
The dispeller of delusion, transforms sin into virtue.
Yasmad Aham Tvasharano, Jagad Eka Gamya,
Since I have no other refuge, O Thou the one goal of the universe,
Tasmat Tvameva Sharanam Mama Dina Bandho.
